On this edition of the Service Guys Podcast, Lonnie and Ruel chat with Sarah Kline with Military Housing Advocacy Network (MHAN) about advocating for safe and healthy housing for service members and their families.
MHAN's Mission:
"The Military Housing Advocacy Network (MHAN), through collaborative efforts, protects and improves the health and wellbeing of Service Members and their families through advocating for safe and healthy military housing, educating and empowering military families, and developing the health workforce."
Sarah Kline hails from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and has previously been involved with many private non-profit organizations on multiple Army and Air Force installations earning her the Commander’s Award for Civilian Excellence and the Alice Grierson Award for Excellence in 2017. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Austin Peay State University in 2008 and Summa Cum Laude with a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Southern Nazarene University in 2014. Sarah has a comprehensive background involving multiple housing partners, environmental concerns and varying service branches, but mostly focuses on advocating for families affected by mold. Sarah, her husband, and their young triplets currently reside at the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York.
